Refund Policy
A 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, no questions asked, and what happens the rest of the time.

If athna isn't what you hoped, you shouldn't be paying for it. This policy says when you get your money back. It's part of the Terms of Service, and it starts when paid plans do.
The 14-day guarantee
The first time you pay for a plan, you have 14 days from that charge to change your mind and get all of it back. No reason needed.
- It covers the first payment on a brand workspace's first paid plan, monthly or yearly.
- Ask within 14 days of the charge. Email hello@athna.ai from the address on your account, or use the link in Settings → Billing.
- We refund to the card you paid with, within 5 business days of your request. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
- Your workspace drops back to the free plan when the refund goes through. Nothing is deleted; anything the free plan doesn't include is kept but locked until you upgrade again.
One guarantee per workspace. If you've had one refund and subscribe again later, the second subscription isn't covered.
After 14 days
Renewals. Subscriptions renew automatically, and we don't refund a renewal. We'll email you before a yearly renewal so it's never a surprise. If you cancel after a renewal has gone through, you keep access until the end of that period.
Cancelling mid-period. Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. You keep everything you've paid for until the period ends; we don't refund the rest of it.
Seats. Adding a seat bills for the rest of the current period. Removing a seat takes effect at the next renewal; there's no refund for the days left.
AI credit packs. Overage packs aren't refundable once bought, because the credits are available the moment you buy them.
Switching plans. Move up, and the difference is charged for the rest of the period. Move down, and the lower price starts at the next renewal.
When we refund anyway
- We broke it. If an outage or a bug on our side kept you from using athna for a meaningful part of a period, tell us and we'll credit or refund that part. We'd rather know.
- We closed your workspace for a reason that wasn't your fault. Unused time is refunded.
- We changed the terms or a price and you cancelled before it took effect. Unused time is refunded.
- You were charged by mistake: a double charge, a charge after cancelling. Tell us, and it's refunded in full.
What we don't refund
- A plan you didn't use. The 14 days are for finding that out.
- Time after you were suspended for breaking the Acceptable use policy.
- A chargeback you opened instead of emailing us. Please ask us first; it's faster, and it doesn't lock your account.
Where you live
If the consumer law where you live gives you more than this (a longer cooling-off period, say), that law wins, and we'll follow it.
